But out of the 500 participants, 400 completed the run between 5:00 am to 5:00 pm and covered the 11 km distance from Dadar to Worli.

This was the third edition of the Ultra Marathon and without any prize money, runners ran for the spirit of running. A national record has also been registered in this year's competition.

Out of the 500 runners who participated in the run, 150 were women and 100 security-forces runners. 3 contestants above 70 years of age were running in the marathon. Actor and model Milind Soman’s mother, Usha Soman (78) had participated in this event.

The organisers had setup emergency booths on every corner from Shivaji Park to Worli for runners. These booths also offered water, dates, and glucose to pump up energy in the runners.
