In a tragic Monday morning for Mumbaikars, the motorists faced a massive vehicular congestion on the Western Express Highway (WEH) between Goregaon and Andheri.

According to reports, two cars and a bike collided on the Western Express Highway, Monday morning, May 23, owing to which there was a huge traffic jam on the flyover below the metro bridge starting from Goregoan Hub Mall to Andheri. However, no injuries or causalities have been reported so far in the accident, reports stated.

Due to the traffic, commuters are having difficulties in reaching at their destinations or offices on time, especially on the first working day of the week.

The police had reached the spot and immediately tried to clear the long queue and normalise the traffic on the route. However, despite efforts the traffic continues to remain as several motorists took to Twitter and shared:

On the other hand, in a similar case that took place last month, in April, a commuter while talking to Mumbai Live elaborated on how a truck loaded with goods rammed into the edge of the flyover near Hub Mall in Goregaon. The commuter further remarked that nearly 15 fire brigade personnel were on the spot, attempting to remove the truck.
