In recent developments, residents of Vasai Virar Municipal Corporation will now be able to access many certificates including death and birth certificates online. This provision has been made keeping the recent circumstances in mind with the spread of COVID-19. Several certificates including death and birth certificates can now be accessed online on the official website of the Vasai Virar City Municipal Corporation (VVCMC).

This is said to make the work of the officials easy, further benefiting a lot of people, especially during the outbreak of the coronavirus. The certificates that can be downloaded are listed below.

• Assessment certificate form
• No outstanding certificate
• Zone certificate form
• Birth Registration Form
• Death registration form
• Fire NOC - Hospital Form
• Fire NOC - Business Form
• Transfer of property by sale
• Transfer of property by the nominee
• Water connection form
• Advertising permission

In order to use this service, one must first register himself/herself on the onlinevvcmc.in site. After verifying the account with the registration link which the individual will receive on the mail id, the mobile number is to be verified by entering the OTP. After that, the person will have to log in to their account, download the application form and read the required documents carefully. After uploading the documents in the PDF format, the online payment must be made using net banking or the credit/debit card. After accessing the unique communication number which will be used for further communication, VVCMC will issue an appointment date. For further verification, one has to visit VVCMC with original documents and collect the certificate.
