Bring an ordinance to construct Ram Mandir: RSS' direct demand to BJP government

Ram Mandir Issue? BJP President Amit Shah meets RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat

RSS held a three-day conclave from October 31 to November 2 in which 54 organisation associated with the Sangh participated. Also, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah on Friday met RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat at Rambhau Mhalgi. The content of the meeting is still unknown.

Ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha and Maharashtra polls next year, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) had demanded the central government to bring an ordinance in order to build Ram Mandir (temple). 

Speaking at a press conference earlier, RSS member Manmohan Vaidya asked the government to acquire land for building Ram temple through the means of law, while saying that the Supreme Court should respect the feelings of people in this matter. 

Earlier, Supreme Court adjourned the hearing on the Ram Mandir issue till January next year. Over this, various BJP leaders and other right-wing organisations expressed their dissatisfaction regarding the same.

While talking to the media, Vaidya informed that the current ruling government has accepted that if the proof of a temple’s existence before Babri Masjid is found, it will support the demand of the Hindu community. Vaidya adamantly claimed that there was a temple before the construction of Babri Masjid saying that the remains of the same were also found. This fact was accepted during Narasimha Rao's government.
