Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut has been making the headlines for past 18 days amid the ongoing political turmoil in Maharashtra. On Monday, Raut was admitted to Lilavati Hospital after he complained of chest pain.

Shiv Sena MLA Sunil Raut, a relative of Sanjay Raut, informed that he is well now and underwent angioplasty. The Shiv Sena leader had also complained of stress and high blood pressure.

This comes amid the ongoing political crisis in Maharashtra. Raut is admitted in the 1102 room number of the Lilavati hospital and was treated by Dr. Ajit Menon.

Meanwhile, a picture of him on the hospital bed went viral on social media. In the picture, Raut can be seen writing on a piece of paper. Raut has been in the limelight as Shiv Sena’s voice in the ongoing tussle with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Raut held meetings with Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar and struggled to keep Shiv Sena in the forefront.

Earlier, Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari denied Shiv Sena’s request for another 48 hours to stake claim to form the government.

On Tuesday, Sanjay Raut on Twitter quoted a few lines from the poem written by Harivansh Rai Bachchan in Hindi saying that his party will not give up and will succeed.

Shiv Sena’s Sanjay Raut is currently in Lilavati Hospital. On Tuesday, NCP chief Sharad Pawar went to meet him. Later, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray also went and met him. Moreover, BJP leader Ashish Shelar also visited Raut in the hospital.
