Introducing Mumbai's the first affordable Art Fair - The CIMA Art Mela. Presented by the 26-year-old acclaimed Centre of International Modern Art, one of India's premier art galleries, The CIMA ART MELA has been created with a single aim - to bring quality art by some of the world's top artists and the best new talent into hundreds of homes at dream prices.
Featuring the work of 80+ talented and emerging artists from the art world curated by Rakhi Sarkar (Director - CIMA), this fair has been conceptualised after a great deal of planning and research into the changing purchasing patterns of today's art consumer. After an overwhelming successful fair in Calcutta where customers and collectors queued up from 6 am waiting for the gallery doors to open at 11 o’clock just to get their hands on a prized piece of art, they are confident the selected artists and their works would draw the same (if not more) attention and crowds in Mumbai.
