Attention Thanekars! No water supply on May 17

In the Thane Municipal Corporation area, water supply will be shut off in Mumbra, Diva, Kalwa, Majiwada Manpada and Wagle (in some areas) ward committee areas from 12:00 am on Thursday, 23 May to 12:00 am on Friday, 24 May.

Water from Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation is supplied to this area. Under MIDC's water supply scheme, water supply from Barvi Gravity Channel will be closed from 23/05/2024 at 12.00 am to 12.00 am on Friday 24/05/2024 for a total of 24 hours due to urgent repair work being undertaken from Katai Naka to Sheel Tank.

During this shutdown period, water supply in Diva, Mumbra (except some part of Ward No. 26 and 31) and Kalwa Ward Committee under Thane Municipal Corporation, Rupadevi Pada, Kisan Nagar No. 2, Nehrunagar and Kolshet Khalcha village under Manpada Ward Committee in Wagle Ward Committee, will be completely closed for an hour.

Citizens please note that water supply will be at low pressure for the next 1 to 2 days after the water supply starts. Citizens have been appealed to keep sufficient water stock for this period and to cooperate with Thane Municipal Corporation by using water sparingly.
