Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor Khan has received a notice from the Madhya Pradesh High Court with regards to a petition against her new pregnancy memoir "Kareena Kapoor Khan's Pregnancy Bible." An advocate approached the court against the use of the word "bible" in the book's title.

Justice Gurpal Singh Ahluwalia issued a notice based on advocate Christopher Anthony's petition to file a case against Kareena Kapoor Khan and the sellers of the book. The court has asked the actor to explain why the word "bible" was used in the title.

Anthony, a social worker from Jabalpur, claims in his petition that using the word "bible" in the book's title is offensive to the Christian community. He argues that comparing Kareena Kapoor Khan's pregnancy to the Bible is inappropriate and accuses the actor of using the word for publicity.

The book which was published in 2021 focuses on her pregnancy journey where she has provided tips for expecting mothers. The petitioner first tried to register an FIR against the actor but on refusal he moved a lower court for the same.  Court rejected the request saying that his petition failed to establish how the use of the word "bible" in the title was offensive. He then moved the Additional Sessions Court which dismissed his petition.
