Kshitij Zarapkar, who is known as a famous actor, writer and director, passed away around 10:00 am on Sunday. He had created a different place in the minds of the audience with his powerful acting. In his personal life, he was battling cancer for the past few months.
For the past few days, Kshitij Zarapkar was undergoing treatment for cancer. But, due to a multiple organ disorder, he suffered a heart attack.

Kshitij Zarapkar had previously acted in the plays 'Sundara Manahan Bharli', 'Sakhkhe Shejari', 'Viccha Majhi Puri Kara'. Recently, he was seen in an important role in the drama 'Charcha Tar Honarach' starring Astad Kale and Aditi Sarangdhar.
Apart from this, he played important roles in the films 'GolaBerij', 'Thenga', 'Ekulati Ek', 'Ideachi Kalpana', 'Balgandharva', 'Baykochya Nakalat'. He also worked in the serials 'Abhalmaya', 'Damini', 'Bedhund Manachi Lahar', 'Ghadlay Bighadlay ', 'Swarajya Rakshak Sambhaji', 'Swarajya Janani Jijamata'. Currently, all Marathi artists are mourning the death of Kshitij.
