According to the instructions from the Election Commission of India, the fifth phase of the Lok Sabha General Election 2024 has been announced on May 20, 2024.
Navi Mumbai Municipal Transport Corporation buses will be made available for the election work of the Assembly Constituency of Lok Sabha General Election 2024. Therefore, the possibility of irregularity in the schedule cannot be ruled out as fewer buses will be available for daily bus operation in the area of Navi Mumbai Municipal Transport Enterprise from May 18, 2024 to May 20, 2024 till the end of election work.
Therefore, the transport administration is appealing for cooperation from the travelling public regarding the inconvenience caused to some extent on the said day.
