The first Haj flight carrying pilgrims from Maharashtra will take off from Mumbai on July 29. The Haj pilgrims from Maharashtra will embark on their Haj pilgrimage from Mumbai, Nagpur and Aurangabad — the three embarkation points.

The Haj Committee of India released the flight schedule of Haj pilgrims who will be performing Haj in August 2018. The last Haj flight from Mumbai airport will be on August 12, 2018. All Haj flights from Maharashtra will be directed to Jeddah Airport.

The first return flight of the Maharashtra Haj Pilgrims will be September 12 from Madinah International Airport to Mumbai.

The Haj pilgrims from India will embark for Haj journey from 20 embarkation points by Charter Planes from July 14 to August 16. While the first Haj Flight on June 14 from Delhi, Gaya, Srinagar, Guwahati and Lucknow embarkation points, the last Hajj flight from India on August 16 will be from Ahmedabad, Cochin, Hyderabad and Jaipur embarkation points.

3,500 Haj pilgrims, hailing from Madhya Pradesh, will fly to Jeddah from Mumbai. The likely date of Waqoof e Arafat - the key ritual of the Hajj, is August 19/20.
