Eid- al- Adha also known as Bakri-Eid, actually mean the "festival of sacrifice" celebrated worldwide each year. Bakri-Eid celebrated annually around the world and an official holiday in Muslim-majority countries. As per the religious belief, Eid is celebrated on the day when Prophet Ibrahim sacrifice his son, but God asked to offer an animal instead and so sacrificed a goat. Every year, thousands of Muslims sacrifice goats on occasion of Eid. The majority of goats were reportedly trucked into Mumbai from Rajasthan. Prices of goat is set to an average of Rs 15,000 to 30,000 in the graveyard at Behrambaug, Oshiwara. This year, Muslims across the world Celebrates Bakra Eid on September 12.
