Shivsai Mitra Mandal presents Groundnut Eco-friendly idol of Bappa in Ashok Nagar, Bhandup east. Mandal is celebrating Ganesh Utsav since 19 years. Before this, Pandal rejoice idol with a theme like- Sugar Bappa, Garam Masala Bappa, Cereals Bappa, Paper Bappa, Flower Bappa, alike many more. “This year we have created the idol of Bappa with the use of Groundnut which weigh 21kgs working over 25days”, says artist Sagar Pawar.
