She actively participated in the initiative taken by the mandal workers. Eye donation initiative in collaboration with Lotus Eye Hospital, Juhu was undertaken. Vasudev Sawant, first eye donator was issued netradata card by Shilpa Shetty in presence of Rajan Dichlokar(Chairman), Amitabh Mistry, Mahesh Pednekar & Anil Aajgaonkar dignitaries of the mandal.
