Even after getting warning from HC, BMC didn’t put any banners regarding safety measures on various beaches. Madh & Aksa are one of the beaches who do not have proper security measures. They have also put up radium banners. As a part of formality, they have also put up 101, 1916 as helpline numbers. There are 18 life guards, which are insufficient to safeguard the beach. On the day of holidays, only NDRF & fire brigade officials are present on beach. But, no medical facility is made available on the beach. Life guard Nathuram Suryawanshi added that medical facility is needed at beaches.
