22-year-old Somaiya College student-Jibbin Sunny died a tragic death while playing tug-of-war in Vidyavihar. The incident took place on Thursday evening on the college premises.
On the occasion of sports day, a tug-of-war tournament was organised at Somaiya College. Two groups were formed for the game and Sunny was a part of it. The video from the event which has gone viral shows Sunny leading his team with full effort. While students were cheering the two groups, he collapsed to the ground.

He was immediately rushed to Rajawadi Hospital but he passed away during treatment. Doctors at Rajawadi Hospital will be carrying out a post-mortem after which, the real cause of his death will be known. Doctors believe that he might have died due to dehydration or a heat stroke.
