Bee Sting Kills One In Borivali

A 52-year-old man died in Borivali West’s Veer Savarkar park as he was stung by bees. The incident happened on Wednesday evening where the deceased went for a walk. 

Veer Savarkar Garden is situated on Lokmanya Tilak road in Borivali West. In the garden, when the deceased – Pankaj Shah (52) – went for an evening walk, he was attacked by a swarm of bees. There was a beehive inside the trees and along with Shah, the bees stung two others – Ramnuj Dadh (32) and Marista Ramona Rongavila (46). 

As this happened, the three individuals were rushed to the hospital. Of the three injured, Pankaj Shah was the most stung. Unfortunately, Shah lost his life while two others were discharged after their treatment. After the incident, the BMC has also discussed the same during their meeting.
