Varisty students to do ‘Mumbai Darshan’ in helicopter

Mumbai University has joined hands with Pawan Hans, state run helicopter services operator to launch Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering. They have also planned to introduce a course in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering in the upcoming academic session.

This was announced on 24 March where vice chancellor of Mumbai University Dr. Sanjay Deshmuh, Pawan Hans limited president Dr. B P Sharma, Air Commander T Vidyasagar, Garware Institute’s founder Dr. Anil Karnik and other dignitaries were present.

This has benefitted the Varsity students as from March 28, they will get to see Mumbai from bird's eye view, all thanks to Pawan Hans who will take these students on a helicopter ride.

Starting March 28, students from Mumbai University (MU) will be able to get a bird’s-eye view of the city by taking a Mumbai Darshan ride on Pawan Hans helicopters from their Kalina campus. This ride will take off from Kalina campus around 9.15 am. In total, 16 students will get a free helicopter ride.
