Goregaon - Post-immersion, Aksa beach became dirty with waste which comprised of flowers, garlands and also immersed parts of idols. In order to clean up the beach, Mee Swayam Foundation came forward. they cleaned up the beach by collecting thermocol, plastic & also Bappa idols which were not fully immersed. Members of this foundation immersed this idol once again. "Usually, many NGO's clean up the area on the second day of immersion. But, after two days, waste comes on the shore wich is often neglected" said Mahesh Gujjar, volunteer, Mee Swayam Foundation
