BMC ropes in students to increase poll awareness

Kandivali- On Wednesday, the BMC held a rally at10 am, in which students from various schools and colleges of Mumbai took part. The students held banners and placards at various places in Mumbai with an aim to create awareness about voting in the forthcoming elections.

The Brihanmumbai Mahanagarpalika has approached students of city schools and colleges to create awareness of the forthcoming polls among Mumbaikars. With a view to educating people about the importance of choosing the representative of their choice by voting for the right candidate.

The rally, organised by the R South BMC ward officials, was carried out by students of schools and colleges from Goregaon link road to Kandivali link road.  The initiative is an effort to boost the sagging rate of voting during every election in the city.
