Mumbai: BEST Bus Crash Near Plaza in Mumbai's Dadar Leaves Two Dead, Several Injured

A major road accident occurred near the Plaza area in Dadar on Monday morning when a BEST bus rammed into multiple vehicles, resulting in the deaths of two people and injuries to several others.

According to initial reports, the bus lost control and crashed into several vehicles in the busy Plaza locality during peak morning hours. The collision triggered panic in the area, with eyewitnesses reporting that multiple vehicles were damaged in the incident.

Authorities said that 10 to 12 people were injured, some of whom were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. Emergency services, police personnel, and traffic officials rushed to the scene and launched rescue and traffic-management operations.

The exact cause of the accident remains under investigation. Officials are examining whether the crash was caused by driver error, loss of vehicle control, or a possible mechanical failure.

The accident led to temporary traffic congestion in the Dadar area, one of Mumbai’s busiest transport hubs. Authorities later diverted traffic and worked to restore normal movement on the affected roads.
