As per central government's decision now visually impaired and other disabled can commute by Best buses free of charge . implementation of this policy will cause Best a huge financial deficit. Bmc will grant rs 1 crore to ease this burden. This policy is to be implemented before Diwali.
Bmc reserves 3% funds for visually impaired and disabled development .The grant to Best will be allocated from the same .This policy will benefit 2.5 lakh people who form 3% of Mumbai's population
