Barkatli - BMC started demolition drive in Barkatli, Wadala. BMC assured that by Thursday, demolition work will be finished. The shanties adjacent to skywalk are to be demolished. BMC issued notice two months ago and residents ignored the notice and went ahead scaling height of their shanties. Asam Shah resident Barkatli when reported said, " I have been living here for 62 years, and as per BMC's report they were to demolish only the rear part of their shanties, but they are rampaging shanties and shops.
