Mumbai: CR RPF rescues 163 children in 'Operation Nanhe Farishtey'

In an exemplary display of commitment towards child welfare, the Railway Protection Force of Central Railway successfully rescued 163 children during the month of May under its dedicated operation "Operation Nanhe Farishtey". RPF in association with Government Railway Police and other frontline railway staff ensured the safety and well-being of these vulnerable children.

Of the 163 rescued children, 133 were boys and 30 were girls, all of whom have been successfully reunited with their parents with the help of NGOs like Childline. Remarkable efforts of RPF personnel from various divisions have played a vital role in this heartwarming achievement.

RPF Mumbai Division of Central Railway rescued 34 children, including 23 boys and 11 girls. Similarly, the Bhusawal division rescued 78 children including 70 boys and 8 girls while the Nagpur division rescued 14 children including 5 boys and 9 girls. The Solapur Division successfully rescued 4 children, including 2 boys and 2 girls, and the Pune Division contributed to the rescue of 33 boys.
