The meeting of party leaders was held in the presence of the Chief Minister and Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde where he demanded that his party should get at least 100 seats in the grand alliance.

Apart from this, 50 more seats will be demanded in the Mahayuti. Since Shiv Sena is strong in the alliance, it was argued that the party should get 100 seats. Keeping in mind the delay caused due to seat allotment in the Lok Sabha elections, Shinde has given instructions to extend the schemes of the state government.
