Nullahs have always been a major problem in Mumbai, as every monsoon, nullahs overflow due to a lack of cleaning which leads the streets to flood.

But from this year, the BMC has announced that it will clean city's different pipelines from March and along with it, the work of cleaning the drains of Mumbai will start from April 1.

The BMC used to start nullah cleaning in the month of May

Usually, every year, the BMC starts its application process and takes approval of the standing committee in the month of April and then it makes the nullah cleaning draft.
