Marve Road - Cement Plant which was closed six months before on the notice of Maharshtra Pollution Control Board has been restarted. The cement plant was a cause of air pollution in the area and therefore it was closed.The cement plant was located on Marve road, Malvani. President, Save Our Land, Garg Pereira when reported said," They asked cement company for the papers detailing permission of the restart of the operation, to which company had no answer." In connection with this Marve road residents association and Save Our land reported the matter to Maharashtra Pollution Control Board.
