Central Railways (CR) have decided to restore the services of Mumbai, CSMT-Tiruvananthapuram weekly express as per details below:
16331 Weekly will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) at 20.35 hrs every Sunday with effect from 24.04.2022 till further advice and arrive Tiruvananthapuram at 08.00 hrs on third day.
16332 Weekly will leave Tiruvananthapuram at 04.25 hrs every Saturday with effect from 23.04.2022 till further advice and arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 19.15 hrs next day.
Halts: Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Karjat(only for 16331), Lonavala, Pune, Daund, Kurduvadi, Solapur, Kalaburagi, Wadi, Yadgir, Raichur, Mantralayam Road, Adoni, Guntakal, Anantapur, Dharmavaram, Hindupur, Krishnarajapuram, Bangarapet, Tirupattur, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Podanur, Palakkad, Ottapalam, Thrisur, Aluva, Ernakulam, Cherthala, Alappuza, Ambalapuzha, Haripad, Kayamkulam, Kollam and Varkala Sivagiri
Composition: Two AC 2-tier, Three AC 3-tier, 6 Sleeper class, 3 General Second class including Guard's Brake van and one generator van.
Reservation: Bookings for train No.16331 will open on April 15, 2022, at all computerised reservation centres and on website www.irctc.co.in.
Additionally, Railways has decided to run 18 Superfast / Express weekly special trains between Pune and Kanpur Central to clear the extra rush of passengers during summer rush. The details are as under:
01037 Superfast weekly special will leave Pune at 06.30 hrs on every Sunday from 17.4.2022 to 12.6.2022 (9 trips) and arrive Kanpur Central at 07.45 hrs next day
01038 Weekly special will leave Kanpur Central at 12.20 hrs on every Monday from 18.4.2022 to 13.6.2022 and arrive Pune at 17.00 hrs next day
Halts: Daund Chord Line, Ahmednagar, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, Virangana Laxmibai Jn., and Orai
Composition: One AC-2 Tier, Four AC-3 Tier, 10 Sleeper, 6 General second class including guard's brake vans.
Reservation: Bookings for special train No 01037 on special charges will open on April 13, 2022, at all computerised reservation centres and on website www.irctc.co.in
