Central Railway (CR) will run 30 additional Special Trains for the convenience of passengers during the upcoming Diwali festival season.
Details as given below:
1) LTT- Madgaon –LTT Weekly Special (6 Services)
01003 Weekly special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus every Monday at 08.20 hrs on 06.10.2025, 13.10.2025 & 20.10.2025 and will arrive Madgaon at 22.40 hrs same day. (3 services)
01004 Weekly special will leave Madgaon every Sunday at 16.30 hrs on 05.10.2025, 12.10.2025 & 19.10.2025 and will arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 06.20 hrs next day. (3 services)
Halts: Thane, Panvel, Pen, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Vilavade, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim and Karmali.
Composition: one AC-2Tier, Three AC-3Tier, Two AC-3Tier Economy, 8 Sleeper Class, 4 General Second class, 1 Second Seating cum Guard’s brake van and 1 Generator Van.
Reservation: Bookings for special train 01003 is now open at all computerised reservation centres and on website www.irctc.co.in.
2) Panvel-Chiplun-Panvel Unreserved Special (24 Services)
01159 Unreserved Special will depart Panvel at 16.40 hrs every Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 03.10.2025 to 26.10.2025 and arrive Chiplun at 21.55 hrs same day.
01160 Unreserved Special will depart Chiplun at 11.05 hrs every Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 03.10.2025 to 26.10.2025 and arrive Panvel at 16.10 hrs same day.
Halts: Somatane, Apta, Jite, Pen, Kasu, Nagothane, Roha, Kolad, Indapur, Mangaon, Goregaon Road, Veer, Sape Wamne, Karanjadi, Vinehere, Diwankhavati, KalambaniBudruk, Khed and Anjani
Composition: 8 MEMU Coaches.
Passengers are requested to note that the above trains will run as UNRESERVED and tickets can be booked through UTS system with normal charges as applicable for superfast mail/express trains.
