Bandra - BMC Commissioner Ajoy Mehta ordered demolition of shanties in Behrampada on Saturday. Working on the orders of the commissioner, demolition process was activated. Around three-four storey shanties were demolished, residents were affected badly by the demolition move. Residents vented their anger against BMC workers, in order to avoid scuffle massive police bandobast was initiated. The demolition drive shall be continued till Sunday, informed Joint BMC Commissioner P.N.Gaikwad.
