To reduce traffic congestion on the eastern (Kopri) side of Thane Railway Station, the Thane Traffic Police have introduced new No-Entry and No-Parking regulations. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Pankaj Shirsat has issued an official notification, and these changes will remain permanent.
The ongoing construction of the SATIS bridge on the eastern side has narrowed the road. Additionally, increased two-wheeler parking near the station has worsened traffic congestion.
