CST - Political parties have created a furore over EVM machines in India. Various party workers were seen shouting and sloganeering against EVM machines in Azad Maidan on Thursday.
Workers were shouting slogans that said, 'EVM Machine Hatao, Desh Bachao'. Shiv Sena, Congress, NCP, RPI (A) joined in the protest. Parties have accused the Bharatiya Janta Party of tampering the EVMs and winning the BMC election in Maharashtra.
What is however interesting is that Russia has liked India's EVM machine process of casting votes and is planning to set up a similar system during the election in the country.
