Gatari Amavasya, also known as Gatari is a festival that the Maharashtrians celebrate. During these days people celebrate and enjoy eating non-vegetarian food. This year even due to the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown has been imposed in the state, but now some relaxation has been provided. People rushed to buy meat on this occasion but not everyone followed the rules of social distancing.
