A level 2 fire broke out on a 22-storied building at Andheri's Peninsula Business Park. It is located off the Veera Desai Road in Andheri West. The fire was on the sixth floor and was reported at 12:50 pm on Monday, October 14.

Over 6 people were rescued from the spot and no casualties have been reported so far. Fire engines were rushed to the spot and the situation is said to be under control. About 40 to 50 people were stranded on the upper floors are being evacuated. More information is awaited.
