Fire breaks out in Nargis Dutt Nagar slums of Bandra

Once again, a fire broke out at Nargis Dutt Nagar slums in Bandra (W) on Tuesday morning, October 30 around 11:50 am. 10-12 fire engines and eight water tankers have rushed to the spot. Fire brigade officials are trying their best to douse the fire.

It is believed that the source of the fire is a cylinder blast, however, the exact cause is not known yet. For now, no casualties have been reported but the nearby surrounding has been covered in smoke.

More than 50 hutments caught fire. Mumbai fire brigade officials finding it difficult to douse the fire due to the congested arrangement of hutments.
