As per the information received on Thursday midnight, a massive fire broke out inside Todi Mills Compound in Mumbai’s Lower Parel area. It is said that the Navrang Studio located on the fourth floor was on flames. Upon receiving the information, 12 fire engines have been rushed to the spot to extinguish the Level-III fire and bring the situation under control. Further, one ambulance and seven tankers have also been sent to the location. No casualties have been reported as yet.
Sources say that the building was not functional and was also at the risk of collapse. The reason for the fire is still unknown and the necessary investigations will be conducted soon.
Mumbai has been many fire incidents over the last few days, including another major incident at Lower Parel’s Kamala Mills’ compound, where 14 lost their lives and many were left injured. Other incidents include Cinevista studio, Mumbai Sessions court, a residential building in Marol and more.
