Govandi- The Subhash Nagar police beat chowky was inaugurated by former social justice minister Chandrakant Handore on Wednesday.
The new chowky will be a convenience to residents who were finding the distance to the Govandi police station troublesome. Chembur ACP Dhananjay Gaikawad, Govandi senior PI Uttam Kolekar, former ACP Ramesh Poman, J K Hargude and other dignitaries were present.
