Chembur – MMRDA has constructed a bridge linking Nagababa Nagar, Ashok Nagar, Kasturba Nagar & Sahyadri Nagar on eastern freeway. Only light vehicles were permitted to run on this bridge. Thre were appropriate barricades for the purpose too. But now, they have been broken by Deserva Buildres and heavy vehicles are plying on this bridge on a regular basis which is weakening it. Despite of this neither the MMRDA nor the Police are paying attention to it, complain local residents.
