Dahisar - Stacked up waste outside the Mhada colony in Shanti Nagar, Dahisar has become the cause of concern for the residents. All the garbage from the drain was shifted in front of the colony by civic workers. Residents have reported the problem to the ward officer, but to their dismay, no action has been undertaken. The street is stinking and school kids going towards Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel school face loads of problem. When contacted Vijay Kamble, BMC R/North ward officer, he disconnected the call saying that they are busy with elections.
