Parel- "Journalism is considered as a fourth pillar of democracy. It is not an easy job and the journalists need protection as well, we will work towards it," said Snehal Ambekar, Mumbai mayor.
She was speaking at the programme organsied by Journalist Union of Maharashtra at Parel’s Rashtriya Majdoor Sangh. “We will help the reporters in every possible way,” said Ambekar.
During this programme, reporters were felicitated by the Mayor in the presence of Rashtriyia Majdoor Sangh’s secretary Govind Mohite, Mira Bhyanader Municipal Corporation’s corporator Dr. Nayna Wasani, secretary Hemant Samant, Rajendra Jadhav, Satish Satam and others.
