Kurla - Work of installing noise barriers has been undertaken on the sides of Kurla east, MMRDA bridge. This will reduce the noise made by the traffic, but the residents have been happy because it is working as a blessing in disguise for them as with those barriers in place, no one can throw litter from the bridge. The residents have been making complaints about throwing of empty liquor bottles from the bridge during night. Now those metal sheets will shield us from this nuisance too, said Jamshed Khan, a local resident.
