In order to curb illegal vendors at railway stations, Central Railways has decided to introduce licenses for hawkers intending to sell their goods. The rail officials have decided to allow the hawkers to sell at railway stations where long-distance trains will make a stop. Railways has called the initiative 'Adhikrut Feriwale'.
Meanwhile, Central Railways has decided to introduce the service at CSMT and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) stations.

More than 180 people will be employed to look over the task, who will work for the hawkers and will sell their goods at railway stations.
Accordingly, the vendors and hawkers will be prohibited from entering the trains to sell the goods. On the other hand, Railways is expecting to earn money by curbing illegal vendors and licensing them.
