Man’s dead body found near Dahisar nullah after five days of Mumbai rains

On August 29, Mumbai city was submerged under water and many lost their lives. Dahisar’s resident Pratik Ghatle swept away after he fell into the Dahisar river. Police officials and fire brigade officials started search operation and finally, after five days his dead body was found near Dahisar nullah. Police have sent his body for post mortem.

Dahisar resident Pratik Ghatle and his friend Gaurav Raju were crossing the bridge when it fell down and the duo swept away. Both started shouting for help. Hearing the cries, villagers saved Gaurav but Pratik was nowhere to be found. Gaurav was then admitted to Kandivli’s Shatabdi Hospital.
