A massive fire broke out in Palghar's Vasai area, late in the evening, on Saturday, October 3, 2020. The fire was confined to a factory, stated the report mentioned by ANI. Rescue operations and concerned teams reached the spot to control the situation.

Earlier in the day, a man, identified as Ajit Wadu (21), was passed away when his bike was hit by a truck in Thane. Reports state that his bike caught fire immediately as the petrol leaked due to the accident, and he was charred. The incident was reported at 6:30 PM on Saturday.
