Lower Parel - "Leadership is action, not position." Working on this dictum, mayor Snehal Ambekar inaugurated development works in different domains at Lower Parel on Monday. After hearing out the problems affecting residents of Vadiwala Chawl, Vani Chawl and Saurab Chawl, she green signalled the maintenance works in these chawls. Residents have been complaining about the lack of basic amenities like clean water, good road, and well maintained footpaths.
Present at the inauguration were Ram Salgaonkar, Chhaya Koli, Kishori Kajolkar and residents of the area.
