Wadala - BMC carried out a demolition drive in Motilal Nehru Nagar premises, Wadala (East). A 22-year-old religious place underwent BMC hammer on Thursday. BMC and MMRDA in unison carried ou this drive. Residents were fuming with anger and started protesting on the site. Wadala TT police arrested 6 of them. Casting yard of the metro is to be constructed at this place, that's why Anil Wankhede, Deputy Commissioner MMRDA took this decision informed Madhukar Savatkar, Joint Controller MMRDA.
