Mulund- Just off the Eastern Express highway at Mulund east, blooms a unique bazaar every afternoon. The 'boharin' - women who swap old clothes from housewives for utensils, or collect used items from households that are spring cleaning just before the festive season, set up shop here. There is active trade here - the women bring their wares from all over the city to sell at cheap prices, and the poor, who cannot afford spanking new stuff, descend on this flea market to pick up dainties at throwaway prices.
Local MLA Sardar Tara Singh has been instrumental in making the space available for this bazaar.
