2 Men on Motorcycle Died After Falling Off From Flyover In Goregaon

Two men died after their vehicle met with an accident on a flyover in Goregaon in the early hours on Monday, July 1.

The deceased have been identified as Vaibhav Gamre (28), a resident of Goregaon West, and his friend Anand Ingle (24) from Goregaon (East). Gamre resides at Teen Dongri in Goregaon West with his wife, Rohini. Ingle lived in Goregaon East and is unmarried. His family resides at his hometown. The two men were acquaintances.

The accident took place when the two were commuting from Goregaon East to West using the connecter flyover on Gamre’s bike at around 4:15 am. 

An on-duty night patrolling constable on Goregaon police's mobile 1 van was informed by the control room that two youths were found severely injured on the road at MDNL Junction in Goregaon West. The constable rushed to the spot and found them unconscious. The police immediately called an ambulance and they were immediately taken to Balasaheb Thackeray Trauma Care Hospital. They were declared dead in the hospital at around 5:30 in the morning. 

It is believed that they had fallen off 20 feet from the flyover. The police are yet to find the exact cause of the accident. Therefore, no case has been registered in this matter and an accidental deaths have been reported, said the police.
