A tragic incident occurred on Wednesday morning at Raj Grandeur building in Powai, Mumbai, where the cleaning of a sewage treatment plant (STP) led to the death of one worker and left another in critical condition.

According to a Mid-Day report, two workers from Ulta Tech Pvt Ltd accidentally fell into a septic tank while cleaning the STP. The Mumbai Fire Brigade said the workers likely suffered suffocation due to toxic gases trapped inside the plant.
