Mumbai Traffic Update: Temporary No-Parking Rules Imposed In Worli Until August 4 To Ease Congestion

Mumbai Traffic Police have issued a temporary notification imposing strict parking restrictions on G.M. Bhosale Road in Worli.

G. M. Bhosale Road in Worli Traffic Division is an important road connecting P. K. Kurne Chowk to Acharya Atre Chowk (Worli Naka). This road is two-way and there is a large amount of traffic and pedestrian traffic on this road.

Due to the increase in traffic on this road, parking of vehicles is causing congestion. Despite repeated warnings to the drivers and vehicle owners, vehicles are being parked on the main road in large numbers.

Therefore, in order to regulate the traffic on this road and control the disorderly parking, it is necessary to issue a temporary notification regarding 24-hour no parking and odd/even no parking according to the date.

24-hours No-parking zones:

G. M. Bhosle Marg South Bound and North Bound - Taxi/Commercial Four Wheeler Vehicles/ Heavy Vehicles

Odd and Even Date No Parking:

1. G. M. Bhosle Marg South Bound - No Parking on Even Dates - Two Wheelers and Private Four Wheeler Cars

2. G. M. Bhosle Marg North Bound - No Parking on Odd Dates - Two Wheelers and Private Four Wheeler Cars

For how long will the rules be in force?

These new traffic rules came into effect from 12:01 pm on May 7, 2026, and will remain in force temporarily until midnight on August 4, 2026.

The traffic police have appealed to drivers to follow the rules, warning that failure to do so may result in disciplinary action.
